Do you allow remote Mysql access?

In most default installations, MySQL binds to 127.0.0.1 - which only allows local connections.

Due to external brute force attacks, misusing the server resources and general security and performance reasons remote MySQL on shared hosting is not allowed.

This restriction is best solution for most users in a shared hosting environment but we do have a customized solution for these needs too so please feel free to let us know.

You can access your MySQL instance by using a local application - like phpmyadmin
