We understand that this kind of access information is very sensitive, and are best kept to a need-to-know basis. We have taken every precaution to ensure that our server which store access information are highly secure. However, there are additional precautions that we advise our clients take before providing us with access credentials.

When providing our technician with access it is always best to change the password of your account being provided to a random password for a short time, while the issue is being traced by our company. If you have set up Security questions for your cpanel you need to change them all to something else as it will reveal your information.

Root ( access) to your server
If a technician asks for 'root access' to your server ( unrestricted permissions), please do not be alarmed.

A Internet Brothers technician may require access to another of your systems; such as to a POP3 or IMAP e-mail account when diagnosing e-mail problems, or direct access to your database in order to perform repairs.
